Unleash the wolves...

...Carnage has no rules
Comparison, competition
We’ll bury one and all
~Machine Head - The Blackening - Wolves

I'm still alive, despite the long hiatus. After a period of wanting to distance myself from the people that I know in CC, I started up my blog again. I decided that I have too many opportunities down here to let a bit of angst and depression get the better of me. So, here I am. I'm back bitches!

I'm still living it up down in the Bay Area. There's just so much shit to do here. I've started mingling in the club scene in SF. When Amanda and Frank were down visiting, we went to Death Guild @ The Glas Kat. It was pretty kickass. They have a fair amount of room, play good music and have a generous bartender. The next Death Guild event I'll prolly be going to is Thunderdome, here in Alameda @ the Area 51. There are a lot of other ok clubs as well, it seems like the DNA Lounge has events frequently and Strangelove @ Julie's Supper Club up on Folsom. I'm discovering a lot of new bars and clubs just by wandering around SOMA, South Beach and the Mission on Fri and Sat night. It's fun being in a new city where you can explore and find interesting things. I've been spending my weekends walking around SF and Berkeley. Besides, it's hella mad exercise.

I've given soda the boot again, I'm trying to just stick to black coffee and bottled water. I figure losing the corn syrup and walking all over will help me lose the flab before summer kicks in. It saves on gas and parking as well.

As for new music I picked up the new albums by Client, Machine Head and Mastodon this last week. They're officially rockin'. I still like City by Client over the new Heartland, but it's pretty fucking good. Machine Head and Mastodon haven't softened a bit, both their new albums are fucking hardcore metal. It's such a nice feeling when good bands don't sell out. Other then that, I've been listening to a lot of Arch Enemy. I also started listening to VNV Nation again, I'd forgotten how good they are.

Meh, 1AM... time to crash and burn.
